Load-to-Truck Ratio

- The dry van load-to-truck ratio (LTR) surged by 29% MoM, rising from 4.48 in April to 5.78 in May.
- Compared to May 2024, the dry van LTR was up 31.7% YoY and was 43.5% higher than the 5-year average.
- According to load board data collected by DAT Freight & Analytics, load post volumes for dry vans were up 22.6% MoM in May while dry van truck posts were down 5.1% MoM.
