- Initially reported average dry van contract rates increased by approximately $0.04 MoM in January, matching December’s gain and marking the fourth consecutive month of sequential increases. As a result, dry van contract rates were 4.4% higher YoY and now sit just 8.2% above average spot rates, a significant narrowing from the roughly 22% premium observed throughout much of 2025.
