Question: What are your normal payment terms?
Answer: Terms are 10 days. We pay all freight bills received during the week on the following week’s check run.
Question: Can we fax or email paperwork? Do you have to send originals?
Answer: You can fax your paperwork to 913-890-6643 or email it to carrierbilling@ryantrans.com. To help process your paperwork in a timely manner, please put our order number on the freight bill and send our rate confirmation along with your paperwork.

Question: Do you offer advances?
Answer: Yes, up to 40% after you have picked up the approved load, and before it's delivered.
Question: Do you charge for advances?
Answer: There is a charge of $20.50 per $1,000 issued. For example, $20.50 charge for amounts up to $1,000, $41 charge for amounts from $1,000.01 to $2,000, and $61.50 charge for amounts of $2,000.01 to $3,000, etc.

  • Have you received my paperwork?
  • What is payment status on an invoice?
  • What was the check date/check number for an invoice?
  • Did you receive my invoice?
  • Was there an advance on the load?
  • What was the rate on the load?

Question: Why do you ask for references?
Answer: This information is necessary for all carrier setups.
Question: Do you have Quick Pay?
Answer: Yes, we have a next day pay program.
Question: How do I sign up for Quick Pay?
Answer: Contact the billing department at 1-877-519-1984 or email @ mailto: carrierbilling@ryantrans.com.
Question: How much is quick pay?
Answer: Next day pay is a 2% discount off of the gross amount of freight charges.
Question: Can I get paid via ACH or Comcheck for Quick Pay?
Answer: We do not offer ACH payment or Comcheck payment for the next day pay program. Payment will be sent first class mail. We do offer UPS next day service in the United States for an additional $25 charge. (Expedited services available Monday - Friday only).
Question: Once enrolled in the QuickPay Program, how long until I receive payment?
Answer: Ryan Transportation will pay the carrier’s invoice on the following work day, less a 3% discount off of the gross amount of freight charges. Payment will be approved upon receipt of properly signed delivery receipts and invoice for services rendered. Carrier must fully comply with all terms and conditions of the transportation contract.
Question: Can I get the Quick Pay check overnighted?
Answer: Payment will be sent first class mail. We do offer UPS next day service in the United States for an additional $25 charge (Expedited service available Monday-Friday Only).
