What are your normal payment terms?

Terms are 30 days. However, we make it a priority to pay freight bills received during the week on the following week’s check run. We pride ourselves on paying almost all freight bills in 10 days or less.

Can I fax or email paperwork? Do I have to send originals?

You do not have the send originals. You can fax your paperwork to (913) 890-6643, or email it to carrierbilling@ryantrans.com. To help process your paperwork in a timely manner, please put our order number on the freight bill and send our rate confirmation along with your paperwork.

Do you offer advances?

Yes, we advance as much as 40% after you have picked up the approved load, and before it is delivered.

Do you charge for advances?

There is a charge of $20.50 per $1,000 issued. For example: we charge $20.50 for amounts up to $1,000; $41 for amounts between $1,000.01 and $2,000: and $61.50 for amounts between $2,000.01 and $3,000.

We do not offer ACH payment or Comcheck payment for the next-day program. Payment will be sent via first-class mail. We do offer UPS next-day service in the United States for an additional $25 charge on Monday-Friday deliveries, and an additional $40 charge on Saturday deliveries.

Once enrolled in the Quick Pay Program, how long until I receive payment?

Ryan Transportation will pay the carrier’s invoice on the following work day, less a 2% discount off of the gross amount of freight charges. Payment will be approved upon receipt of properly signed delivery receipts and invoice for services rendered. The carrier must fully comply with all terms and conditions of the transportation contract.

Can I get the Quick Pay check overnighted?
